Katrina cleanup doesn't sap Philly contractors

Concerns that the cleanup from Hurricane Katrina could hurt the Philadelphia construction business have not materialized, said the chief executive officer of the General Building Contractors Association in the city. With Gulf Coast contractors not willing to pay for health care or pensions, and debate over what to rebuild, many contractors have opted to stay put.
