Lockheed Martin could get C-130 contract, analyst says

The Air Force may cancel a contract with Boeing to update the current C-130 fleet and instead buy new planes, said Loren Thompson, a Lexington Institute defense analyst. The Air Force declined to comment. Boeing said its update work is on schedule. Lockheed Martin may receive an Air Force contract to build new versions of the C-130.
