New Orleans files $77B claim against Army Corps of Engineers

New Orleans is seeking $77 billion from the Army Corps of Engineers for damage caused by flooding after Hurricane Katrina. The Corps built the levee that collapsed during the storm. "It's certainly an attempt to protect the city's interest," a city hall spokesman said. The Corps expects at least 30,000 claims to be filed.
