North Carolina corrects graduation rates

North Carolina released figures this week showing just 68.1% of freshmen who entered high school in 2002 graduated four years later. In previous years, using a different calculation method, the state reported that the rate was more than 90%." The state school superintendent called on schools and their communities to improve the graduation rate.
