Tenn. legislator presses for schools to teach creationism

State Sen. Raymond Finney, R-Tenn., is sponsoring a resolution asking the state education commissioner to prove the theory of evolution or to allow schools to teach creationism or intelligent design. Schools in the state do not teach creationism as part of their biology curriculum, but they can include the subject in elective courses.
