Bush signs measure extending airport construction grants

President George W. Bush has signed a bill allowing the FAA to resume airport construction grants following a two-month hiatus. The extension is valid only through June 30 and is among a series of short-term aviation extensions granted since last fall when Congress failed to approve a new multi-year aviation reauthorization bill.
