Air Force pushes back operational target for JSF

The Air Force now expects an operationally capable fleet of Joint Strike Fighters in late 2015, Air Force Secretary Michael Donley told lawmakers on Capitol Hill. Meanwhile, the Navy is indicating that it, too, may slip the initial operational capability of its JSFs from a current target of 2014. Officials say aircraft testing is going forward as scheduled, but delayed software tests are causing concern.
