Analysis: China's efforts help boost electronics retailers

The Chinese government has offered incentives to encourage consumption, particularly among rural consumers. Beijing's efforts have helped spur sales for consumer-electronics companies with operations in China, including Dell, Wal-Mart Stores, Best Buy as well as locally based retailers Suning and GOME. Government officials recently announced that the incentives for rural consumers will be extended.
