Chief: Yahoo! has data, knows how to use it

Yahoo's ability to mine data effectively and to work closely with marketers on video and other campaigns are among the keys to the future of the portal, which is marking its 15th year, according to chief executive Carol Bartz. "Every person at Yahoo is focused on insights not hindsight," Bartz said at the 4A's annual leadership and media conference in San Francisco.
