Chilean construction industry focuses on reconstruction

Chile's construction industry is gearing up to rebuild following the massive earthquake Saturday that destroyed many of the country's older structures. Chile's strict building codes helped preserve newer buildings -- many of which relied on reinforced concrete shear walls. One construction executive said that companies "are holding impromptu board meetings to evaluate how they will meet the onslaught in demand for construction materials."
