FAA delays performance requirements for ADS-B avionics

The Federal Aviation Administration has delayed the establishment of performance requirements for Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast avionics until May. The performance requirements will be mandated by 2020 and had been expected to be issued in April. However, the initial operational capability of a key air route traffic control center in Alaska will not be ready until April.
