Jobless aid is set to resume after Senate ends deadlock

A 78-19 vote by the Senate broke an impasse that threatened to cut off unemployment payments and health insurance subsidies for as many as 400,000 jobless workers. President Barack Obama is expected to swiftly sign the bill reauthorizing unemployment benefits as well as highway construction projects.
