Survey: Most health care organizations anticipate IT budget increase

A recent survey of health care information technology executives and corporate chief information officers revealed that 72% expect an increase in their IT budgets, with 42% saying their primary focus over the next couple of years is on meeting meaningful use requirements. The survey also found that about 66% of the respondents would expand their IT teams and 38% believe government initiatives will have the most impact on the health IT industry over the next two years.
