Tech titans team up to make cloud computing more secure

Storage player EMC, chip-maker Intel and virtualizaton vendor VMware are collaborating on developing better security and regulatory compliance when it comes to cloud computing. While it's not a product-drive effort, the players are aiming to build a "hardware root of trust for a cloud environment," according to Sam Curry, chief technology officer for global marketing in EMC's RSA security division.
