U.S. is still "interested" in aircraft from Embraer

Deputy Secretary of State William Burns said Thursday that despite cancellation of a contract with Brazil's Embraer and U.S. firm Sierra Nevada, the U.S. is interested in the Super Tucano plane. "Embraer is a great company and the Super Tucano is a very fine aircraft," Burns said during a visit to Rio de Janeiro. "The U.S. is now in the midst of some internal processes, but we remain interested."
