Colo. oil industry remains unfazed despite looming regs on fracking

Oil and natural gas companies in Colorado, including Whiting Petroleum, Anadarko Petroleum, Noble Energy and WPX Energy, are carrying out their investment plans in the state despite a pending ballot measure that could impose stricter regulations on oil and natural gas drilling. "We're confident that common sense and economic certainty is going to prevail in the end. That's why you don't see [energy] companies changing their investment strategy in Colorado," said Colorado Oil & Gas Association President Tisha Conoly Schuller.
