Cities compete for FTAA headquarters project

Nearly a dozen cities submitted bids this week to host the headquarters of the proposed Free Trade Area of the Americas, including Chicago, Atlanta, Houston and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Many officials tout Miami as the front-runner because of its Latin culture and U.S. infrastructure, but some say Panama City, Panama, also has an excellent chance. A decision is expected by next year.
