DoubleClick buys software firm SmartPath

Aiming to expand its marketing offerings, online ad company DoubleClick has purchased SmartPath, a marketing resource management software firm. DoubleClick plans to integrate SmartPath's software with its own marketing automation software, Ensemble, to enhance how customers can view and segment data.
