ABC, ESPN to use split screens for ads during auto races

ABC and ESPN, both owned by Walt Disney Co., will use a split screen to air advertisements during IndyCar races. The plan, called Side-By-Side, is designed to keep restless viewers from switching channels during commercial breaks.
