Incorporating a global awareness into lessons

Under pressure to raise test scores and strapped by limited resources, many schools find it tough to integrate a global perspective into their curriculum, even though today's students need to develop an awareness of the greater world in which they live. At last month's International Studies Schools Association conference in Colorado, teachers learned how they could "internationalize" their classrooms and add global content across curriculum.
