Playing the name game with roadways

In places like Connecticut, the naming of everything from roads and highway sections to bridges and even underpasses after individuals became so out of hand that a moratorium was placed on the practice in 2004. The moratorium was short-lived, however, and the naming continues, with the roadside name signs representing what one critic calls "litter on a stick."
