Puget Sound salmon restoration plan proposed

Lawmakers are considering a $1.1 billion plan to restore salmon populations in Washington State's Puget Sound region. The Puget Sound Recovery Plan, created by a coalition of cities, tribes, counties, business interests and conservation groups, would spur federal, state and local funding for salmon restoration projects.
