Airbus looks for ways to cut costs as dollar weakens

The weak U.S. dollar is forcing Airbus to look for additional ways to lower its costs, EADS CEO Thomas Enders said. He noted that the jetmaker is unable to shed more jobs because it has a full backlog of orders. "When the dollar drops by 10 cents, we have to make savings of 1 billion euros in order to maintain our competitiveness," Enders noted.
