A new and unusual corporate blog from Wal-Mart features the musings of the retailers' cadre of buyers, who mix personal observations with their opinions -- not unremittingly positive -- about products sold on Wal-Mart's shelves. Merchandise manager and blogger Alex Cook said, "Readers can tell if people are being genuine or monitored."
