Moonves expects CBS upfront volume to be lower, rates higher

Although CBS is likely to sell less space during its upfront, the network still anticipates being able to command higher prices for its ads, CBS President-CEO Leslie Moonves said at conference in Palm Beach, Fla. "We may have to sell a little bit less," Moonves said. "We'll take a large share of that [upfront volume]. We will not reduce our pricing. We expect pricing increases versus a year ago."
