C&W: U.S. to lead global rise in commercial real estate deals

Commercial real estate transactions around the globe are expected to rise 30% to reach $478 billion this year, according to Cushman & Wakefield. The rise will be led by the Chinese and U.S. markets, with the U.S. forecast to register the biggest percentage rise. "A strong turnaround in activity looks likely ... if the economy stays on track, it wouldn't be surprising to see our forecast beaten," said Janice Stanton, Cushman's senior managing director of capital markets in the U.S.
