Gene test may predict obese people's response to diet plans

Interleukin Genetics said its Inherent Health test that looks for mutations in three genes might help overweight people choose diets that would work best for them. U.S. researchers found that obese women lost more weight on diets that fit their genetic profile than those on dietary programs that do not match their genotype.
