Intel offers cash to build up AppUp Center store

Intel is trying to persuade developers to write applications for its AppUp Center the old-fashioned way: with cold cash. In a bid to spark the writing of new apps for netbooks housing its Atom microprocessor, Intel will pay up to $500 plus potential bonuses over the first two weeks of April, according to a published account.
