Landmark London hotel hits market, could be Europe's most expensive

In what could represent the most expensive hotel to ever come to market in Europe, London's landmark Grosvenor House Hotel has been put up for sale by the Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC. The five-star, 420-room hotel, operated by JW Marriott Hotels and Resorts, could sell for about $753 million, and, if not for constraints on the lease, the property could have sold for as much as $1.2 billion, according to one source.
