Major earthquake likely to strike Nevada by 2060, report says

Nevada's Reno-Sparks area is likely to be hit by a 6.0-magnitude earthquake by 2060, according to a report from the state's Bureau of Mines and Geology. The region is expected to lose $3.7 billion from such an earthquake, which could damage more than 5,000 buildings, leaving 78 people killed and 900 others without homes.
