Hypertension drugs might benefit patients with normal blood pressure

A meta-analysis of 25 studies in The Journal of the American Medical Association indicates hypertension drugs can reduce the risk of stroke, congestive heart failure, heart attack and death in patients with a normal or slightly above-normal level of blood pressure. Researchers called for a randomized, controlled study to verify the finding.
