Sears joins an expanding group of suitors for Amazon's affiliates

Sears Holdings is the latest large retailer to invite concerned affiliates to drop Amazon and start referring online customers to its site. The company issued an open letter to affiliates in states where Amazon dropped them, or threatened to do so, after the states moved to require online merchants to collect sales tax. Sears' letter follows similar invitations from Barnes & Noble, Wal-Mart Stores and Best Buy.
