DISH gains online video rights in deal with Disney

Walt Disney Co. and DISH Network, after more than six months of talks, have agreed on carriage terms that include digital video rights that would allow DISH to use Disney content for a potential Web-based TV service. The deal also places limits on the ad-skipping ability of DISH's Hopper DVR. The deal brings to an end "all pending litigation" between the companies, they announced.
