HIV training module for NPs reflects changing trends

HIV care is moving from specialized clinics into primary care settings, so the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing has created an HIV training module to prepare nurse practitioners to provide that specialized care. Curriculum developer Jason Farley says the program is designed so students learn about HIV care as they receive advanced primary care training.
