Report shows BIM adoption, usage in North America

According to survey data collected from March 24 to May 20, 2013, 41.1% of BIM users in North America reported that they had begun using the technology between 2005 and 2008, and 36.71% had used it for more than nine years. Almost three-quarters of the respondents said they used BIM for more than five years. Design-Bid-Build was used in more than one-quarter of BIM projects, and that is the "most widely used delivery method." However, Design-Build and Integrated-Project-Delivery were also used.
