Researchers tested the maximum noise levels of 14 infant sleep machines at varying distances and found that all of them were more than 50 decibels at 30 centimeters and 100 cm away. When placed 200 cm away, only one machine was within the recommended noise limit, according to the study published in the journal Pediatrics.
