Wal-Mart faces critics, voters in California expansion

Wal-Mart intends to build 40 of its massive supercenters in California over the next three to five years, but critics of the world's largest retailer aim to disrupt those plans whenever possible. Results from two referenda in two different California communities amounted to a split decision for the company this week.
