Raising awareness on deep vein thrombosis

The wife of former NBC News correspondent David Bloom says the condition that her husband died from -- deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism -- is preventable and treatable. As the two-year anniversary of Bloom's death in Iraq approaches, his wife, Melanie, is raising awareness about the disease that causes up to 200,000 U.S. deaths annually.
