FDA clears Aerocrine asthma device

Aerocrine has received FDA approval for its Niox Mino, a hand-held device designed to spot and monitor airway inflammation in asthma patients. The company is receiving orders from doctors for the device, which will be be on the market in eight to 12 weeks, Aerocrine's senior adviser said.
