Supplemental includes more than $500M for UAVs, official says

The fiscal 2008 war supplemental budget includes more than $500 million for unmanned aircraft systems that lawmakers have yet to appropriate, said Dyke Weatherington, deputy director for Unmanned Warfare in the Office of Acquisition, Technology and Logistics. Weatherington, who took the post last month, also said he was concerned about the central management system for all of the DOD's unmanned systems.
