United reports falling traffic, led by international routes

February traffic on United Airlines dropped 17.2%, with trans-Pacific and Latin American routes both off by more than 24%. The decrease in traffic outpaced the airline's 15.9% capacity cuts, causing United's load factor to slip to 73.3%, compared to 74.4% in February 2008.
