Arby's aims to boost brand with discounts, remodels

Wendy's/Arby's Group unveiled plans to turn the Arby's brand around with a new dollar menu and plans to remodel hundreds of its restaurants by 2013. The efforts come amid an ongoing sales slump for the chain, seen as a higher-priced quickservice option. "We've lost a significant number of transactions and sales," said CEO Roland Smith.
