California county mulls stricter landscaping standards

California's San Joaquin County Planning Commission wants to save water. The group is considering stricter landscaping rules, including use of moisture sensors and separate water meters in all areas not within a city's boundaries. The commission will also consider new parameters for how much water will be required for landscaping and ongoing maintenance.
