High-potassium diet offers heart benefits

An analysis of 10 studies indicates high-potassium diets can cut stroke risk by 19% and the risk of developing coronary heart disease by 8%. A separate study found that a diet high in raw fruits and vegetables was tied to a 36% reduced risk of stroke.
