NBCT: Teachers should be heard on education missteps

Teachers are encouraged to protest today in response to what National Board Certified Teacher Anthony Cody describes as the destruction of education in the country because of misguided reform efforts. On his blog, Cody writes that an emphasis on testing, a flawed Race to the Top competitive grant program and the lasting negative effects of No Child Left Behind have created the need for teachers to protest.
