Open Internet access issue comes to Britain

It is telecoms in the U.K.'s turn to face the open Internet access issue. Telecoms regulator Ofcom said it would open an inquiry into the matter after several media companies raised the issue. "The deployment of traffic-management techniques and policies is now happening in scale," said Ofcom CEO Ed Richards in explaining why the subject has jumped onto his office's radar.
