Pa. board continues Foxwoods fine after Wynn testimony

Steve Wynn testified before the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board about his plans for the stalled Foxwoods casino, but the board will continue to fine the project $2,000 a day until it receives written plans. Wynn received a mixed reception before the hearing, as he was cheered by union tradesmen and booed by anti-gaming activists. Wynn Resorts Ltd. has pledged to put up $250 million for the cost of the project along the Philadelphia waterfront.
