RealNetworks to nix RealDVD, lawsuit settlement says

RealNetworks has agreed to stop selling and supporting its RealDVD service, which enables users to copy DVDs, as part of a lawsuit settlement with the Motion Picture Association of America and six Hollywood movie studios. As part of the agreement, RealNetworks also has agreed to pay out $4.5 million to cover legal fees incurred by the studios.
