Study: Services lag for U.K. children with hearing impairments

There is a lack of quality care and services for U.K. children with hearing impairments who also have other special needs, according to the largest study of its kind from the University of Manchester's National Deaf Children's Society. Advocates say the study highlights the need for greater understanding and more research to address the children's complex needs.
