Air-filled seat cushions offer new level of passenger comfort

Deutsche Lufthansa AG is making prolonged sitting and sleeping more comfortable for airline passengers by replacing the foam seat cushions on its 100 long-haul planes with new air-filled cushions. Lantal Textiles' Pneumatic Comfort System has been chosen to supply several thousand new seats over the coming years. Brussels Airlines will also install the adaptive air-filled cushions on its long-haul business class seats.
